8th January 2025 We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Protection Officer to join our Team. This is a new role to help drive us forward with our data and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring The Pioneer Group complies with all relevant data privacy laws and requirements. Creating and overseeing the company's data protection frameworks and controls. Working with colleagues to develop a culture that values data governance and compliance. Acting as the key point of contact for internal colleagues, customers, and external regulators. Developing and delivering training. Processing Subject Access Requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring deadlines are adhered to. Informing and advising colleagues on their obligations to comply with the UK GDPR and other data protection laws. Supporting and advising colleagues in completing key documentation (Data Processing / Sharing Agreements (DPAs / DSAs), DPIAs, and Legitimate Impact Assessments). About You: We’re looking for a Data Protection professional who is accredited in data protection and risk management. You will have in-depth knowledge of GDPR, excellent attention to detail, and a methodical approach to work. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to ensure understanding and compliance within the organisation.
