The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering to help our client enhance data-driven strategies and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy machine learning models that contribute to business improvement across different areas.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and insights from large data sets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable business strategies.
- Carry out data wrangling, cleaning, and pre-processing to ensure data integrity.
- Utilise Python, R, SQL, and cloud technologies to manage and interpret data effectively.
- Develop data visualisation techniques to present findings in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends to continuously refine analytics practices.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Solid command of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong statistical skills and experience using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
- Degree in a relevant quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
