As a Data Scientist/Analyst volunteer, you’ll not only shape the future of our learners but also play a critical role in helping our organisation better serve the community through data-driven insights. Role Responsibilities: Training and Mentorship: Develop and deliver hands-on training programs in Power BI, SPSS, coding, and machine learning. Support learners in gaining practical, job-ready skills in data analysis and technology. Design and implement innovative training materials tailored to learners from diverse backgrounds. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse organisational data to measure the impact of Connect Talent CIO’s services on the community. Provide actionable insights to improve program effectiveness and identify new opportunities for growth. Create detailed reports and visualisations showcasing the organisation’s contributions to local communities and the UK at large. Assist in tracking outcomes such as service reach, learner progress, and community engagement metrics to guide strategic decision-making. Collaboration and Innovation: Work with the Connect Talent team to develop data-driven strategies for expanding services. Support the organisation in identifying trends and patterns to anticipate future community needs. Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience

in data analysis, teaching, or a related field. Proficiency in Power BI, SPSS, coding languages (e.g., Python, R), and machine learning frameworks. Strong communication and teaching skills, with experience guiding learners from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data for organisational decision-making. Knowledge of digital tools and platforms for community outreach and engagement. Passion for social mobility and making technology accessible to all.
