Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and machine learning, with the ability to leverage large datasets to derive actionable insights. You will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions using advanced analytical techniques, including AI and natural language processing, to enhance our decision-making processes and drive business growth. Duties Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform strategic decisions. Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms to forecast outcomes and improve operational efficiency. Utilise big data technologies such as Spark and AWS to manage and process large volumes of data effectively. Conduct data mining activities to extract valuable information from structured and unstructured data sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Implement natural language processing techniques to enhance data interpretation and user experience. Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders through visualisations and reports. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science methodologies. Experience Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R for data analysis and model development. Familiarity with big data frameworks and tools, particularly Spark, for handling large datasets. Experience with AI applications and machine learning techniques is essential. Strong understanding of data mining principles and practices. Knowledge of natural language processing is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
