Your role will include: Designing and implementing effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data, including Data Lake and Data Warehousing. Assessing database implementation procedures to ensure compliance with GDPR and data regulations. Guiding, influencing, and challenging technology teams and stakeholders to understand the benefits, pros, and cons of solution options. Agreeing and setting the technical direction for the data platform landscape and solutions, in collaboration with delivery and engineering teams. This is a hands-on role requiring extensive exposure to cloud technologies. The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of writing code, building data pipelines, and performing transformation and ingestion in a specific tech suite.
Minimum Requirements: Extensive experience in implementing solutions around Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and CosmosDB. In-depth understanding of database structure principles. Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining. Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and data modeling. Understanding of SQL/database management. Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies, preferably around Azure.
