A day in the life.

As our Data Tech Program Manager, you’ll oversee discovery initiatives and collaborate closely with the development team, Scrum Masters, and data architects to outline the data systems landscape. You will develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy for Merger and Acquisition activities, emphasizing data integration and migration to Azure Data infrastructure. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure that data initiatives align with the Merger & Acquisition roadmap and create, review, and approve plans for delivering Mergers & Acquisition project outcomes. Engaging with stakeholders, you’ll maintain alignment, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations while collaborating with the enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to lead technology onboarding. You will manage data project streams related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery, and regularly interact with executive stakeholders to foster a culture of transparency and trust.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

Overall 15+ years of IT experience & at least 5+ years as a Program Manager working across multiple technical projects

Experienced in working with Data Platform and Data Engineering teams to implement data solutions and drive adoption of these technologies across product and platform engineering teams

Strong leader with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority

Experience working on enterprise data lake projects, business intelligence tools & cloud deployments

A solid understanding of databases, including the strengths and weaknesses of various platforms and products, enabling you to provide a trusted perspective in decision-making discussions

Experience in the Data & Analytics landscape

Hands-on program management experience throughout the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases of projects

Ability to perform effectively and consistently in the face of frequently changing and sometimes ambiguous goals

Capability to define project scope, create detailed project plans, and facilitate the gathering of engineering, operational, and business requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and problem resolution within cross-functional teams

Strong understanding and experience with development methodologies, including both waterfall and agile approaches

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Knowledge of Agency Management systems like Applied EPIC and Vertafore Sagitta, Benefit point is a Major plus.

Merger & Acquisition Integration experience within the Data & Analytics

Azure Cloud exposure.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $85,230 to $149,205. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
