About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator to join our digital team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems to ensure their optimal performance, security, integrity and availability.

The role involves: Monitoring database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required Create data export scripts to be used by the Data Team for reporting Implement and maintain SSIS packages Creating technical and functional documentation and ensure that is reviewed and maintained accurately Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner and provide incident support to staff Install, configure and upgrade database management systems (DBMS)

About You The successful candidate will have: Certification in database administration (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator or equivalent) 2 years’ experience in a database administrator role Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server) Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimisation Experience with database backup and recovery procedures Experience in creating data update and export scripts
