to join their team, supporting the development/upgrade of a key business application. Working in a hybrid-style, our Client is seeking a real

Database Specialist

with a consultative approach and broad knowledge of the Database landscape to help them choose/select/develop the best solution for their customers. Key Responsibilities in the role will include: Review Requirements:

Analyse and understand the specifications of the new application Database Platform Recommendation:

Recommend the most suitable database platform(s) to meet the application's design requirements. Implementation and Design:

Collaborate with the existing Development team to design and implement the database solution Mentorship and Best Practices:

Mentor team members and document best practices for optimizing and monitoring database performance. Legacy Project Optimization:

Potentially review and optimize existing SQL Server projects. To be successful, candidates should have the following knowledge & experience: Extensive & proven experience working as a

Database Consultant / Database Designer / Database Architect Proven knowledge & experience in

database design & implementation

across a broad range of Database solutions (for example, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc etc) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work closely with key Stakeholders & Business Users The ability to mentor and guide team members & implement best practice Experience with SQL Server is a huge plus If you're seeking a new challenge for 2025 and are available immediately/at short notice, PLEASE APPLY NOW to be considered for this Contract.
