Description :Database Developer (MySQL)Location: Bristol, onsite Contract: 12 months fixed term Likewize Support provide knowledge solutions and technical support for a range of world class brands, from banks & cell phone networks to retailers. Our Digital Delivery (DD) function creates and enables the communications for those support tools underpinned by continuous insight.We are part of Likewize. We are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients/customers.As part of the IT team, you will be working cross-functionally to support producing quality reporting by maintaining the underlying data structures used by our quality and insights/reporting team. The role also involves in day to day administration of DB credentials, investigations into queries and proactively raise development requests.Key ResponsibilitiesTo develop new MySQL databases, SQL queries and Stored ProceduresTo evaluate new and existing systems and identify areas for improvementTo work with testers to ensure new functionality is working to specificationTo participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectivesTo provide estimates and updatesTo write and maintain technical documentationSkills/ExperienceMySQL, Stored Procedures, SQL queries, database optimisation & Database AdministrationAttention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.JiraMinimum of two years in database administration with MySQLEnsure Fairness & Embrace DifferencesWe believe in fairness – so much so that Fair is one of our core values.
