Serve as the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Center Environment, reporting to the Data Center Manager. Maintain the operational aspects of data centers and support our growth path as a 'technical expert' on core Data Center infrastructure. Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues, escalating only the most complex problems to the appropriate resolver groups. Proactively monitor the customer environment by checking system error logs, monitoring ticket queues, and consulting with other maintenance teams. Execute small projects independently and work collaboratively with management in planning and executing larger local projects. Understand all aspects of the equipment being supported. Qualifications

5-12 years of experience in Data Center infrastructure Operations support and server administration in a mid-sized environment (200 - 1000 server systems). Incident management experience, specifically in responding to electrical and mechanical failures, and focusing on incident resolution and lessons learned. Proficiency in two or more of the following areas: Power capacity allocation for high and low-density racks; Incident management and resolution for outages related to M&E; Data center design, commissioning, and operational best practices. Track record of executing Method of Process (MOP) improvements. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to delve into system intricacies to resolve customer issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong adherence to processes, assuming the role of a process champion. Effective relationship skills. Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direct management oversight. Experience supporting large Enterprise customers in an Operations environment. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. CNET CDCDP or CDCMP certification. 5 years of enterprise data center experience. Familiarity with Linux administration or other command-line interfaces. Experience in Structured Cabling (Copper/Fiber) and cable testing. Knowledge of Cooling and Electrical systems concepts within data centers. Proficiency in repairing and working with enterprise server hardware is also advantageous.
