The DataScope suite of applications is part of our Pricing and Reference Service business. It is a respected application used in the wider finance industry where clients can download both market data in bulk form or in customized reports. The application has 4k+ external clients who consume financial data to analyse funds and the market position of global industry players. In this role, you'll be joining our

Enterprise Data Solutions as a Technical Lead:

serving the entire spectrum of data needs across asset classes, latency and delivery mechanisms including real-time data and news, reference and legal entity data. Detailed Responsibilities:

Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team. Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Providing technical leadership to serve as point of escalation, review, and approval for key issues, significant projects, and decisions. Collaborating closely with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard. Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible. Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments. Being open with the team about challenges, failures, and successes. Improving technical solutions to make them more stable and maintainable. Contributing to the writing of documentation and release notes in conformance with company standards. Motivating staff and crafting a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns. We are looking for someone who:

Is comfortable with collaborating with senior business managers on application requirements, incorporating desired functionalities into application development plans, and supervising application development stages. To ensure success, you should exhibit extensive application development knowledge and experience in evaluating business needs. An outstanding application candidate will be someone whose expertise in application architecture and leadership translates into optimized business operations. Tech Profile/Required Skills

5 years + experience with various programming languages. Experience with Microsoft development languages including Java. Significant experience with Linux development using Python, and shell scripting. 3 + years of experience leading technical teams in a Product Engineering capacity. Strong analytical and solving skills with a "can do" approach. Strong cloud experience (AWS or Azure). Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Excellent people skills and emotional intelligence. Experience with financial market data and/or financial market products. Experience with Agile Project management or Highly Iterative Project Methodology experience. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
