Field Service Engineer - Ipswich Are you a technically gifted engineer or mechanic looking to further your skillset and career? This exciting opportunity will focus on the servicing, maintenance and repair of forklift trucks in a field-based position. Field Service Engineers are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our ever-growing fleet of forklifts, at our customer's sites across the UK. We are looking for someone to: Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of forklift trucks Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard, following procedures and all health and safety guidelines Help support our long-standing customer base Demonstrate good product knowledge gained from having experience of working on all aspects of forklift trucks, IC Engines, brake systems, hydraulics and electrics. Have experience in agricultural or construction equipment as many of the material handling equipment work in a similar way To be successful for this position you will: Previous experience in a similar role Excellent communication skills both written & verbal Strong organisation skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads Product training will be provided All candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in the UK. A clean driving license is also highly desirable.
