An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Day Service Officer at The Pastures Day Service in Goole. This 21 hour per week position is for a 12 month period. We are seeking a dynamic, positive individual to join our team supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Autism, Older Persons, and those with additional needs. Are you innovative with the passion to make a difference in the lives of those you support? Do you thrive on a challenge where no two days are the same? Are you an inspiring and creative person with experience of working in a caring/social work environment? Do you possess good communication and recording skills and can actively plan and develop different activities? Do you have the skills to risk assess and problem solve? Can you work alongside support staff and assist management in supporting the team? If you can answer yes and you have a fun, motivated, positive, and energetic personality then this is the job for you. A day in the life of a Day Service Officer within The Pastures Day Services includes planning, overseeing, and supporting group activities, supervising supporting staff, liaising with family, carers, and professionals, completing administration work including session notes and using technology e.g., for training, accessing Microsoft Teams and sending emails.
