1x permanent, part-time position - 18 hours per week Who we are Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research. What you'll do Lead and manage high quality, therapeutic registered day services and community supports for people with dementia, those at greater risk of dementia, and their families and carers. Ensure services meet Alzheimer Scotland's vision for unique therapeutic, highly person-centred support and comply with service level agreements and quality guarantees. Manage day-to-day operations and promote services with key local stakeholders within Health and Social Care. Collaborate with the Head of Services to ensure safe practice and delivery of high-quality, person-centred therapeutic day services. Evidence, review, and improve the quality of services, participating in audits and inspections. Provide line management and leadership to your team, setting clear objectives and conducting regular reviews and appraisals. What you'll have Experience managing a team in a social care, health, or similar setting, or demonstrate knowledge of effective team management. Knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards, SSSC codes of practice, and the Care Inspectorate's role in registered services. Understanding of dementia, mild cognitive impairment, and experience supporting people living with dementia and their families. A recognised professional qualification in health, social work, or a related field, to SCQF Level 7 (SVQ 3).
