Part-time (26 hrs per week) About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity available in our friendly team as an Emergency Admissions Officer. You will be a positive individual with the ability to work well under pressure. It is important that you are organised, computer literate, and able to communicate effectively and respectfully with the wider multidisciplinary team as well as the patients who use the service. This position covers 7.5 hour shifts between 07:45-21:15, allocated on a Rota basis. We are a 24/7 service, so this will include occasional Bank Holiday and weekend working. You will also be required to be flexible in covering colleagues' annual leave or sickness as per Trust policy. Please note: if this role requires you to have a DBS check, this amount will be reclaimed from your salary on appointment. Main Duties of the Job

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE standard to include English Language and Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent) Knowledge

Working knowledge of computers and knowledge of office practices Understanding of the importance of confidentiality Good communication skills, both verbal and written Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload Personal Attributes

Excellent attention to detail Ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the service Disclosure and Barring Service Check
