A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an experienced Scrub nurse to join our friendly team at our 23 hour Day Surgery Unit. We are looking for someone with surgical experience who is motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic. You will regularly take charge of the unit and as an effective leader and role model you will work flexibly as a member of the team and support the team leaders, to ensure that standards are maintained, evaluated and where necessary improved. You will be an effective role model and be involved in helping to develop all aspects of the unit in line with the Trust's visions and future plans. Main Duties of the Job
All applicants must be a Registered Nurse, with extensive post-registration experience at Band 5/6, Orthopaedics/Plastics scrub competent or above within the Surgical Field. All applicants will be required to complete a presentation at interview and questions will be given in advance to the shortlisted candidates. You must be flexible, possess excellent communication and organizational skills. If you are looking to develop your managerial, clinical, and decision-making skills we would love to hear from you.
