Following the appointment of our new headteacher, the Governors of Silverdale are seeking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Headteacher with the experience to support our Leadership Team in building on current success and contribute to the exciting journey our school is on.

The new Deputy Headteacher will:

Possess the ability to lead and develop our teachers by demonstrating excellent teaching and learning across the school Be committed to sustaining and developing high quality SEMH/SEND and Autism provisions and services Be dedicated to providing young people with the best possible opportunities Have the ability to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders of the school We can offer you:

Please note – as this post will have teaching responsibilities, the recruitment and selection process will require observations of teaching to be completed.

With this in mind, it would be the intention of the recruiting panel to make arrangements to see any shortlisted applicants teach in their own school. This letter should outline how you have the skills and experience to meet the criteria for the post of Deputy Headteacher at our school.
