About Corporate Advisory Services Our Corporate Advisory Services team at BDO Christchurch is a unique blend of both Deal Advisory and Business Restructuring, offering exposure to a wide variety of work and industries. Our Deal Advisory team is dedicated to helping clients navigate various transactions and achieve their strategic goals.

About the role This role will provide you with a challenging and rewarding career with the opportunity to step up and lead, making a genuine impact both for our clients and within the team environment. As part of our Deal Advisory team, you will be involved in evaluating and advising on diverse projects and responsibilities across a broad range of clients and industry sectors.

Working closely with Partners who are the national leaders in their area you will be provided with strong guidance and leadership to grow personally and professionally.

Duties & Responsibilities You will be assisting team members with providing specialist advice, preparation of project data books and report writing in the following areas: Due Diligence (buy and sell); Share and Business valuations; Financial model preparation and review; Merger and Acquisitions; Litigation support; Investigating accountant reviews; Equity raising and debt financing; IFRS valuation and impairment reviews. About you We are seeking applicants who are CA or CFA qualified with five or more years work experience in a Deal Advisory/Corporate Finance, Insolvency and Turnaround, Audit or BAS role.

Having cemented your understanding of financial concepts, your ability to succinctly explain complex information in reports and excellent written communication will be fully utilised along with your confident verbal skills.

You will utilise your well developed interpersonal and coaching skills to work collaboratively within a close team, guiding and mentoring junior staff demonstrating your interest in business and commercial issues and ongoing personal and professional development.
