Savills Investment Management: Resilience. Responsibility. Results. Job Purpose Savills IM is seeking a Debt Analyst for its Research & Strategy team in London. The role will support the DRC Savills IM real estate debt team regarding research & strategy. The role will report to the Head of UK Research & Strategy. The Analyst will be expected to support, and in due course run, debt research related activities. Role Responsibilities Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to: Monitor and report on key UK and European capital market trends pertaining to real estate debt Thought leadership:

Contribute to real estate debt research publications, including client reporting, quarterly market outlook reports and one-off thematic research papers (ultimately leading the origination and completion of specific research materials) Contribute to house view discussions with respective colleagues on both the debt and equity sides of the organisation and help enforce these recommendations into day-to-day activity and questions around investment strategies

Quantitative research e.g. developing in-house models and the use quantitative analysis to better inform the business and our investors Review external research relating to the capital and real estate debt markets Liaise with external research and data providers Collaborate with other members of the global research and strategy team with regard to providing views on real estate debt Adherence to SavillsIM Risk and Compliance Framework Ad hoc support as required across the wider business Job Requirements A demonstrable interest and understanding of real estate investment, the key drivers of performance and a desire to either learn or further develop their knowledge of real estate debt investment. Strong academic qualifications and an analytical and inquisitive mindset Excellent financial analysis skills Strong written and oral communication in English. While English is the primary business language for this role, we would welcome candidates with other relevant languages, but this is not essential. Ability to produce concise and thoughtful materials and communicate the findings to a wide variety of internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority. Ability to demonstrate a high level of tenacity and attention to detail Strong interest in sustainability & ESG trends in the real estate sector Motivated self-starter, with the ability to analyse situations, recommend sound solutions and implement strategies Be comfortable working to short deadlines and juggling multiple work streams at once Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of other relevant statistical software, and experience managing datasets. Some travel may be required Please note the application deadline for this role is 12 February 2025.
