Location: [ Yeovil, Portishead, Exeter, Bodmin ] Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent We are a leading public sector property services business operating throughout the South, with over 45 years’ experience in the social housing property services market; and we’re looking for a talented Decarbonisation Business Manager to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will not only be responsible for delivering our secured decarbonisation contracts but also work closely with our business directors to grow and shape the decarbonisation business unit of which you would have ownership of. About the Role: As the Decarbonisation Business Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of our decarbonisation projects, ensuring that all contracts are completed on time, within budget, commercially profitable and compliant with PAS2030 Processes.. You will join our senior team and work to identify new business opportunities, drive the growth of the decarbonisation business unit, and help us expand our impact in the industry regionally. This is a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in decarbonisation with strategic business development, making a real difference in shaping the future of Jones Building Group’s PAS works. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery: Lead and manage the successful execution of secured decarbonisation contracts, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction. • Business Growth: Work alongside business directors to develop and implement strategies for growing the decarbonisation business unit, identifying new opportunities and expanding our market presence. • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and construction, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure decarbonisation goals are seamlessly integrated into projects. • Technical Leadership: Provide expertise and guidance on decarbonisation technologies, renewable energy systems, energy efficiency solutions, and sustainable construction practices. • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and maximising value for clients while maintaining high standards of sustainability. • Regulatory Compliance & Quality: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant environmental standards, legislation, and industry best practices in decarbonisation and sustainability. • Reporting & Metrics: Provide regular progress reports to business directors, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities to further improve our decarbonisation efforts. Key Requirements: • Proven experience in delivering decarbonisation projects, ideally within the construction or built environment sector. • Strong understanding of decarbonisation technologies, sustainability practices, and renewable energy systems. • Experience in business development, strategic planning, or growing a business unit. • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business growth while maintaining a focus on sustainability. • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. • A degree or professional qualification in environmental science, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred.
