About IPSD Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures engines that power various applications, including marine and industrial applications. Job Summary An exciting opportunity to join the DEF System Component Engineering team as a design engineer focusing on the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system. What You Will Do Execution of design work, including drawing release and concept work for DEF system components. Create design concepts using 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred). Planning and managing project deliverables. Provide effective communication to peers and stakeholders. Conduct risk assessment through FMEA generation. Meet product and functionality requirements. Support resolution to production, test and field issues. What You Have Decision Making and Critical Thinking. Analytical Thinking. Effective Communications. Technical Excellence in diesel engine design. Troubleshooting Technical Problems. Required Qualifications Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
