Are you passionate about shaping the future of water infrastructure? We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Level 6 Apprentice Civil Engineer,
starting in summer/autumn 2025 . This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience and academic qualifications to launch a successful career in Civil engineering. Based in our High Wycombe office, you will join a dynamic team of Water Engineers and Modellers, working on projects that enhance water supply and wastewater treatment systems. You will learn to utilise industry-standard software, such as CAD, to design and develop innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact and ensure the sustainable management of water resources. As an apprentice, you will play a vital role in the project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and commissioning. You will assist senior engineers in conducting feasibility studies, preparing detailed designs, and overseeing construction activities. You will also collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Our apprenticeship program combines practical experience with academic study. You will pursue a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree, gaining a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles and their application to water-related challenges. About you: For our apprenticeships, no previous experience is required. If you are self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, then this could be for you. Qualifications:
For our Level 6 apprenticeship, you will need either: 3 A Levels totalling 112-120 UCAS points, one of which must be Maths at Grade B or above A BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering – DMM to include Further Engineering Mathematics. We also look for: A Striver:
Exhibiting ownership, consistently delivering on tasks and objectives. You’ll be motivated and proactive in your tasks, having the desire to make a real difference. A Collaborator:
You’ll love to work effectively with lots of different people at different levels, all inputting their part towards a shared goal. A Planner:
Organising and managing your own activities, dealing effectively with multiple priorities with a structured approach. An Adapter:
Able to remain calm in new situations, comfortably switching between a variety of dynamic and exciting tasks. A Multi-Tasker:
