As Business Unit Automotive & Speciality Lamps, we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry-leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g., with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio. This role has been established to support the senior demand planner. The demand planner will have responsibility for collating sales forecasts from multiple business units and testing their reasonableness based on historic data. The sensitized sales forecasts will then be used to create accurate demand plans, taking into account supplier and freight lead times, ultimately ensuring that the correct level of inventory is held in the RING Leeds headquarters to maintain world-class levels of inventory availability for customers. Key Responsibilities:

Create reliable demand plans for Ring’s various product categories, managing inventory in accordance with company DIO targets and ensuring service levels are maintained at a world-class standard. Measurement of customer service level of >95%. Collate, review and challenge sales forecasts. Using the ERP system data and excel models, analyse historic trends and information to assess the reasonableness of sales forecasts presented. Based on the demand plans created, place timely purchase orders with suppliers, considering manufacturing lead times coupled with inbound freight timings, ensuring inventory arrives in Leeds on time to satisfy customer orders. Manage the flow of open orders, working closely with factory partners to delay or expedite orders to manage company cashflow and ensure service level targets are met. Organise themselves appropriately to ensure routines exist to expedite placed orders ensuring that supplier manufacturing is tracking in line with previously agreed ETD. Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the imports team ensuring ships and assets are booked in a timely manner to collect ordered product from suppliers on the ETD. Utilise the open to buy models by category to ensure orders are placed within a bandwidth which ensures inventory turn remains at target levels, following company guidelines for approval when a requirement exists to operate outside the open to buy process. Share past experiences and skills with the team & have a relentless willingness to continue to improve and drive RING’s processes as the business strives for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience in demand planning roles Advanced systems and excel experience - SAP experience preferred but not essential Significant understanding of the creation of demand planning models Strong analytical skills to cope with & make sense of high volumes of data Possess a high level of confidence to challenge stakeholders respectfully Excellent communication skills Self-motivated and demonstrates a passion for the business Experienced in fast-paced organisation Analytical, with strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills Thorough knowledge of the company and its products and processes Excellent inter-personal, time management and decision-making skills Ability to operate on own initiative but also value being part of a team What We Offer:
