Location: 1051 Wonderland Rd S, London, ON N6K 3X4 About the Role: We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor and professional. You will identify the dental hygiene treatment plan according to individual patients' needs, ensuring that patient oral health is the focus! Responsibilities: Use best practices for infection control including while processing instruments and treatment rooms Medical health history screening and updates Conduct baseline and routine assessments (including full mouth charting, probing, oral cancer screening) Radiographs and impressions (as prescribed by the Dentist), intraoral photos Identify conditions and oral diseases such as: gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Educate patients by providing oral hygiene instruction, plaque control instructions, and postoperative instructions as required Identify gaps in clinical schedule and assist with scheduling, such as: booking preventive recall appointments, following up with outstanding treatment plans Collaborate with colleagues during downtime in schedule (Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Dentists, and Administration) Attend continuing education events from time to time Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail A friendly personality who works collaboratively with a team MCA values diversity and is committed to creating and fostering a diverse team and an inclusive work environment.
