Job Summary At C The Dentist we are looking for a friendly and organised Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Responsibilities Welcome patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and follow-up care. Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Qualifications Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognized certification. Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine interest in patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management is desirable.
