Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries professionally. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems is advantageous. A keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks. A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team dedicated to patient care.
