Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dental Receptionist to join our team to start immediately. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental practice. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office and enhancing the overall patient experience. The successful candidate must be flexible for sick and holiday cover. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in for appointments. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations. Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail. Assist with insurance verification and claims processing as needed. Maintain a clean and organised reception area to create a welcoming environment for patients. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Experience Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Proficiency in using office equipment and software applications relevant to dental practice management. A positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.
