Receptionist Role and Responsibilities
Meeting and greeting patients, providing a friendly but professional first impression
Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
Supporting the management and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
Making patients aware of dental services and offers
Handling payments
Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining client confidentiality
Assist in reception admin tasks
Carry out banking duties such as end of day cashing up
Uphold practice policies, procedures and values
Manage social media and marketing for the practice
Your Skills and Experience
Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Well-mannered
Excellent telephone manner
Previous administration or medical/dental reception experience (3 years preferably but will consider less for the right applicant)
Personable, positive and enthusiastic with great customer focus
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel)
Preferred SOE (Exact) Experience
Strong communication and organisation skills
Dental nursing experience with active GDC registration highly desirable.
