Overview
A busy NHS dental practice in the centre of Fareham. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Therapist who can provide NHS treatment to join our team with the option of doing private work. The ideal candidate will an accomplished dental therapist, possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to provide dental treatment to children and adults. The Therapist will work collaboratively with the dentists to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
Provide dental treatment to children
Provide limited dental treatment to adults
Educate clients and their families about treatment options and self-care strategies.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in therapy practices.
Skills
Dental therapy
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
Empathy and active listening skills to build rapport with clients.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
