Just Recruitment is working with a production business, based on the outskirts of Eye, looking to add a Production Manager (department-specific) to their team.
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the operations of a production area, ensuring it runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The goal is to deliver the production plan while adhering to agreed budgetary and service level targets.
Additionally, the role involves working with the Operations Manager to set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
In order to be considered for this role, you need to have the following experience and requirements:
Experience in managing a team of employees in a diverse and pressurised environment
Experience in managing a team to deliver production plans with products with short shelf-life and requiring intensive labour usage
Proven experience in successfully managing a team including performance management, conduct, adherence to company policies and procedures including disciplinary, grievance and attendance issues
Ability to clearly communicate and build a strong and effective team
You will also be self-motivated and highly resilient — ideally have experience in a demanding retail or similar customer base
Working hours are:
6am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 6am to 3pm on Friday
Overtime is available if wanted.
