I currently have an exciting opportunity for

Depot Manager / Production Manager

to join one of the UK's leading train operators. You will manage the depot, including all production activities, workload planning, and depot facilities. This role will ensure that resource levels and facilities are managed to deliver the maintenance plan, meet all business targets, and ensure compliance with the requirements of the CRCL Safety Certificate and Safety Management System. I am looking for a forward-thinking, driven, and motivational person who can inspire and encourage a team to drive towards quality and cost efficiency - could this be you?!

Key responsibilities for this Depot Manager / Production Manager role: Manage depot workload as required by the fleet maintenance plan, including undertaking work for all fleets and other TOC/FOC customers as required. Ensure the provision of sufficient staff, materials, tooling, equipment, and facilities to meet maintenance plan needs. Comply with all relevant procedures and standards to ensure quality and safety of all staff, maintenance activities, and working environments. Develop and maintain a well-motivated workforce that drives continuous improvement in maintenance quality, downtimes, fault finding, training, and safety. On-call responsibilities (with allowance).

Key requirements for this Depot Manager / Production Manager role: ONC NVQ Level 4 or higher. Experience of managing T&RS depots. Experience of managing and working on Rolling Stock fleets. Experience with managing budgets. Proven people management skills. Ability to lead meetings and group discussions to solve problems and make decisions. Highly self-motivated and can work autonomously. Strong desire for continual improvement.

Package on offer for this Depot Manager / Production Manager Role: Salary up to £65,000. 25 days annual leave + bank holidays. Pension Plan. Free travel across their networks. Monday - Friday (with on call, 1 in every 8 weeks). Employee assistance plan. Eye care.
