If you've gained leadership skills in a fast-paced transport supervisory or managerial role in the waste industry or similar, and delegating, decision-making, and problem-solving are strengths, then this could be the step up you're ready for. What You’ll Be Doing As Depot Manager

This is not a sit-back-and-oversee role; we’re looking for a strong leader with a hands-on approach and passion for customer satisfaction to ensure our commercial waste collection services in the Gloucestershire area are carried out safely, efficiently, and profitably. Working closely with your Transport Manager, you will support, manage, and motivate an experienced transport office team and around 24 drivers, making every effort to ensure that customers receive their general waste or recycling collection service on the due day. Your remit as Depot Manager includes ensuring that all legislation, including health & safety, HR, and the Company’s Goods Vehicle Operating Licence, are complied with. What You’ll Need

Minimum 5 years' transport experience and minimum 2 years' waste industry (or similar) experience National CPC Full UK driving licence, ideally with LGV Class 2 entitlement and valid DQC (driver CPC card) Sound computer and cost-control skills Why Grundon And What’s In It For You
