Responsible in totality for the day-to-day running and operations of the warehouse, activities and servicing of customers via our team of CSRs out on the road. Ensuring the smooth running of the operations processes with a drive for security awareness. Handling unexpected events quickly and calmly. Consistently focused on the health and safety provisions required to keep everyone safe. Ensuring that our CSR (Customer Service Representative) team are routed efficiently and liaising with customers to organise collections, deliveries and attendance. Working with our internal Client Care Team to support with queries, complaints and resource. Monitoring the maintenance and ongoing presentation of the warehouse, machinery and all equipment required to ensure preventative maintenance programmes are being adhered to. Reporting activity to the manager including depot ratio and analysis to lead decision-making in such areas as resourcing and output. Ensuring that there is a seamless start-to-finish process; liaising with third-party suppliers to ensure the finished product is ready to be collected and shipped in a timely fashion. Managing a team with a variety of support including toolbox talks, 121s/focus tracker meetings, probations, inductions and any other personnel issues which may arise. Responsible for stock management and purchasing for the depot. To work with our Q&C Manager (Quality and Compliance) to ensure safety, security and smart practices are being met for all warehouse, staff, depot fleet and customer provisions. Planning all operational tasks for the following two weeks, ensuring a focus on detail and risk management. This role is responsible for the depot administration. Working in conjunction with the management team and other areas of the business to ensure clear communication, two-way support and a smart approach to delivering excellence. The suitable candidate will be clear with their communication, be responsible, take ownership and request/provide support as needed. With experience running a warehouse/depot/service hub, you will be able to multi-task, inspire your team and make quick, smart decisions. Always looking at ways to improve and work lean but effectively through continuous improvement and best practice. To adhere to all policies and procedures of the business to ensure compliance. To follow processes set out that are job-specific and communicate clearly. Skills/Experience Required for this Role:

Essential:

People Management Depot/Warehousing Management/Supervision Progress Reporting Strong communication skills Routing and logistics/fleet management Administration experience – processing documents, completing spreadsheets etc. Use of forklift truck Desirable:

Experience working in the waste, security, textile or shredding industries IOSH/NEBOSH qualified HGV license Experience:

Warehouse Management: 3 years (preferred) Logistics: 3 years (preferred) Benefits:
