Overseeing the efficient day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring operations are managed effectively and targets are consistently met. Leading, motivating, and organising the depot team to achieve high standards of performance and customer service. Maintaining and enforcing all workplace safety standards and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engaging with customers to understand their needs, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Ensuring the depot achieves its financial and operational contribution targets while identifying areas for improvement. Managing and prioritising the daily workload, allocating resources efficiently to meet demand. Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience as a Depot Manager or Branch Manager, with a track record of successfully managing a team in a similar environment. A strong understanding of one or more sectors such as plant hire, tool hire, powered access, trenching and shoring, lifting, power generation, accommodation, or other specialist equipment hire. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Demonstrated understanding and implementation of health and safety best practices.
