Leading U.K. trade supplier of uPVC and Aluminium windows, doors, glass, conservatory roofing systems and accessories with a 90+ strong network of trade counters currently has an opportunity for a Depot Manager. As a trade supplier, this company offers a wide range of products within the fenestration industry. Leading a small team, the Depot Manager will ensure that customers receive a 1st class service by building relationships with existing and new customers face to face and on the phone, accurately processing quotations and orders.
The Depot Manager will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for planning and managing all activities of the branch under his/her control to ensure that all budgets and targets are achieved. The role involves organising and managing the customer base and retail area to ensure maximum external sales coverage to existing customers and identification of new business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
The Depot Manager should have: Strong product knowledge of uPVC / Aluminium windows and doors. Management/supervisory experience of running a small team in a fast-paced building material supply environment. Computer literacy, able to use Word and the usual office applications on a daily basis (Training on the group IT System will be provided). Local residency, a full driving license, and excellent communication skills to be customer-facing.
