Deputy Care Home Manager Earls Colne, Essex Up to 35,000 I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a wonderful care home set in the Colne valley in north Essex. The home is a Georgian mansion set in large gardens that has been sympathetically converted to provide residential and dementia care in a stunning environment with spacious and elegant bedrooms and living areas. In this Deputy Managers role you will: Assist in managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals while assuring the provision of high-quality care Be in charge of overseeing the care staff Be expected to assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present Assist in training and supervising care staff in all facets of their work Help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents Ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date Foster effective communication with the residents' families and other organisations.
