An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in a brand new residential care service opening soon based in the Pontypridd, Wales area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers. This is a brand new adult care service opening in early 2025, undergoing a huge refurbishment and will be a modern, top-of-the-line residential service. To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include: Undertaking the deputy management of supporting people with learning disabilities and other complex needs, helping service users achieve their goals in life and actively seeking opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through various staff involvement, activities, and initiatives. Effectively leading and inspiring your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care. Being responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service. Utilizing your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the service's success. The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Commitment to delivering high-quality care. Previous deputy managerial experience in a similar environment. Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards. Fine-tuned decision-making skills. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Flexibility and a strong 'can do' attitude. The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £14.10 per hour, with an annual salary of £29,328 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week.
