Job Title: Deputy Care Manager

Location: Leicester, UK

Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at a domiciliary care service based in Leicester. As the Deputy Care Manager, you will work closely with the registered manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of the service, providing high-quality care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist the registered manager in the day-to-day management of the service Oversee and manage a team of care workers, providing guidance and support as needed Ensure that all care plans are up to date and accurately reflect the needs of our clients Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor the quality of care being provided Liaise with external healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for our clients Assist with recruitment, training, and supervision of care workers Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with regulatory requirements Participate in on-call duties as required Promote a positive and inclusive working environment for all staff membersRequirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a domiciliary care setting NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Flexible and adaptable approach to work Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposesWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career development and progression within the company.
