NHS Ayrshire & Arran - Home (nhsaaa.net) Position An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Charge Nurse at University Hospital Crosshouse. What you will do: You will support the Senior Charge Nurse to lead the delivery of high dependency care in the clinical setting and deputise for the Senior Charge Nurse in her absence. Demonstrating evidence-based practice and strong professional behaviours, you will be a positive role model within the 4F team. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to support the Senior Charge Nurse in meeting the clinical, corporate, and staff governance standards. You will also be able to act as a resource within the specialty, supporting others with clinical and organisational decision-making. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: Knowledge of or previous experience of quality improvement initiatives would be beneficial to the post holder. You should be educated to degree level, preferably with a recognised qualification in the field of critical care nursing and must have current relevant experience in the specialty.
