We now have an exciting new leadership role as Deputy Chief Estates & Facilities Officer - Operational. Reporting into the Chief Estates and Facilities Officer, this role will form part of the senior leadership team within the Trusts Estates and Facilities directorate. The post holder will be responsible for the Trust's operational estates and facilities functions across both hard and soft services. Main duties of the job
You will develop and lead on the Operational Estates Strategy, ensuring it aligns with the overall Trust Strategy. The post holder is accountable for ensuring that the Trust is compliant with statutory and regulatory standards of Estate and Facilities management. The size, scale and complexity of the Trust presents an exciting opportunity for transformational change and a key focus for the post holder will be to drive forward improvements in governance, performance, compliance, assurance and reporting. Given the size and complexity of our infrastructure, a building services or engineering background will be important. In addition to having strong technical skills and experience, you will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present at Board level and articulate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues. Relevant degree level qualification or able to demonstrate equivalence in relevant experience and knowledge. Relevant Masters Qualification or able to demonstrate equivalence in relevant experience and knowledge. Evidence of continued professional development. Further management or relevant professional qualification. Building/Construction/Project Management or qualification (or similar). Disclosure and Barring Service Check
