About the Role You’ll be the Council’s Deputy s.151 Officer and on a day-to-day basis manage the Council’s Finance Service as well as supporting the Chief Finance Officer in the strategic planning and the management of the Council’s finances. You’ll be part of the Council’s Management Team and work within a supportive environment with a focus on employee wellbeing and development.

About the Person Experience of managing a team You’ll have a flexible and diligent approach to work (attendance at evening meetings may be required). Align with the council’s values of being positive, supportive, flexible and innovative. You’ll be a fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ experience in working in Local Government.
