Responsibilities

Working with the Executive Director of Quality & Nursing (EDQN) to provide board level assurance that services within the Trust are being provided in accordance with the relevant legislation and professional requirements. The role requires strong professional leadership with the highest level of interpersonal and communication skills to enable and empower all staff to develop best practice and inspire progressive change. Accountable for all aspects of nursing services, including professional practice, workforce, delivery of high-quality evidence-based care, and financial performance through culture, strategy, people, and resource management. Qualifications and Knowledge

Registered Nurse (NMC) Master’s level in relevant health-related degree or appropriate equivalent experience Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development Advanced specialist knowledge across leadership, service development, clinical, and quality domains. Ability to understand and analyse data such as clinical outcomes, patient harm, and performance data. Experience

Extensive post-registration experience including working at Board level Proven ability to work in complex situations with many differing partners Track record of sound financial management combined with experience of developing effective business cases Skills and Attributes

In-depth knowledge of the legislation and regulations in relation to all areas of portfolio and functions Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others Highly developed negotiating and influencing skills at a senior level Other
