A leading technology company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire is looking for a Deputy Engineering Manager - R&D. The business is part of a global group and continues to grow year on year, with sites both in the UK and overseas.
The Deputy Engineering Manager - R&D will report into the Engineering Manager and will lead a mixed-disciplined R&D team (approximately 5 engineers initially) and work on a range of projects for clients globally.
Responsibilities of the Deputy Engineering Manager - R&D job:
Lead a development team of embedded software engineers Deliver the roadmap and work closely with the product management team Build a high-performing engineering team and culture
Key Skills / Experience Required:
An embedded software or hardware design background with strong embedded software knowledge Proven experience of managing embedded software and hardware development projects A strong product development background and understanding of manufacturing processes Experience of working within and line managing a multi-disciplined design team
