We are now seeking to appoint a Deputy Finance Director. This is a key role within the finance senior leadership team reporting directly to the Finance Director, deputising as required and with responsibility for a team of circa 20 staff. The role is responsible for: Provision of financial business partnering for faculties and professional services Financial decision support and strategic analysis Production of long, medium, and short-term financial forecasts Providing a value-adding financial reporting suite for the University You will: Be a CCAB qualified accountant with a good first degree along with significant post-qualification experience at a senior level in a complex organisation Have a proven track record of value-adding financial business partnering, with proven relationship management skills and the ability to influence performance and direction Have strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and engage large teams Be able to contribute at a strategic level beyond the finance function.
