Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. This position requires a strong background in hospitality, excellent team management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Deputy Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties Assist the General Manager in daily operational tasks to ensure efficient running of the restaurant. Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to maintain high culinary standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Train new staff members on operational procedures and hospitality standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Experience in bartending or beverage service is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
