to join our Insurance Risk Management department in London and support our mission to provide world-class risk management solutions.

Role Overview This newly established role offers the opportunity to: Lead and Develop a Team : Manage and mentor 4-5 team members, driving their professional growth and departmental success. Collaborate Globally : Work with internal and external stakeholders, including insurance brokers and companies, as well as teams across Europe and Japan. Shape the Future : Prepare to step into the Department General Manager (DGM) role within 6-12 months, as part of a structured succession plan.

Key Responsibilities Team Management & Development

Provide leadership, performance planning, and coaching for team members. Inspire and guide team members to achieve their full potential.

Operational Excellence

Enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline operations. Apply insights and best practices from the global insurance market.

Market Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and insurers across Europe. Identify market opportunities and trends to advance risk management strategies.

Strategic Reporting

Collaborate with senior management to provide insights on insurance program renewals, market changes, and risk developments.

Continuous Improvement

Innovate and refine processes to boost departmental efficiency and alignment with corporate objectives.

What You'll Bring Qualifications: Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred). Professional insurance qualification (e.g., ACII, CPCU, Cert CII) or equivalent experience. Skills & Experience: In-depth corporate insurance knowledge across lines such as Property & Casualty, Marine, Energy, etc. Exceptional communication, leadership, and networking skills. Proven experience managing teams and fostering a high-performance culture. Fluent English (Japanese preferred for communication with global counterparts). Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable. Skilled at managing relationships across diverse cultures and seniority levels. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
