Deputy General Manager (Secondment) – Crawley

Deputy General Manager - Crawley Cineworld Crawley is the busiest location in Cineworld's portfolio, located at Crawley Leisure Park, boasting 15 Screens that include several propositions in the shape of IMAX, 4DX & ScreenX with a Starbucks Store on the first level. The Leadership Team consists of a General Manager & Deputy General Manager. In this role, you would be responsible for leading a team of 3 Cinema Managers, 6 Team Leaders and approximately 70 Team Members. In addition, you will be responsible for 1 Starbucks Store Manager, 3 Store Supervisors and a team of 15 Baristas. Due to the fast-paced and challenging nature of the cinema, this role is perfectly suited to an experienced Cinema/Store Manager or current Deputy General Manager who is looking to progress within Cineworld, or someone in a similar transferable role. The ideal candidate will be fully available 7 days a week. As a Deputy General Manager, you will use your existing experience to ensure the smooth running of the cinema. This diverse role will see you managing the commercial aspects of the cinema. In addition to this, you will be highly visible, providing a superior level of customer service and leading the team to deliver an unrivalled cinema experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Deputise for the General Manager in their absence Working in partnership with the General Manager, responsible for all recruitment, development and management of the cinema team with particular responsibility for your direct reports Implement and deliver and achieve business objectives through your management team Ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times Stock Control Cash reconciliation Addressing and resolving customer complaints Coaching Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members Adherence to Health and Safety legislation Monitoring compliance and maintaining standards Delivery of the Company Strategy to be the best place to watch a movie Performance management Operations management Budgetary management Not only may you be able to see films before they’re open to the public, but you will be eligible for the Cineworld Cinepass which entitles you and up to two guests complimentary cinema visits and discounts on food and drink, so you can all enjoy a night at the movies on us!
