We are looking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Head (Academic) for April or September 2025. Would you like the opportunity to join

the senior leadership team of a highly regarded Surrey preparatory school? We are a highly successful Surrey prep school, providing all-round education and development enabling our pupils to achieve excellent outcomes, in terms of high exam results, entry to fine senior schools, scholarships and awards and, most importantly of all, rounded characters, capability and confidence as young men with the world at their feet. Set on a private estate near Kingston, you will be close to Richmond Park and the River Thames, yet within short travelling distance into central London. You will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of teaching and learning as well as the curriculum to ensure these are in line with the school’s aims and reflect the changing landscape of preparatory education. The role holder will have significant leadership and curriculum management experience as well as proven experience in managing and enhancing assessment processes to drive higher achievement, together with strategic thinking and motivation to ensure that Rokeby continues to be an innovative, high achieving and ambitious learning environment. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills with a view to driving the meaningful development of teaching professionals. You will need to be able to lead all aspects of the teaching and learning life of the school, evaluating curriculum options and leading a performance culture of success and reflection for improved future practice. Salary according to Rokeby pay scale, which is substantially above the national scale, with outstanding training and CPD opportunities available. Closing date:
