£14.50 per hour, plus tips Job Description: As Deputy Head Chef, you will oversee the kitchen operation within the restaurant and ensure that the quality is in line with Wagamama standards, which meets and exceeds customer expectations. You will ensure the consistent, efficient, and smooth running of the kitchen operation. You will supervise the performance of kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards. Essential Criteria: Experience as a Team Leader within a busy kitchen Ability to lead a team, including scheduling Strong communication and organisational skills Problem-solving abilities Provide and deliver service excellence Experience with ordering stock and working with budgets Fully flexible to work shifts (including weekends) on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) Desirable Criteria: Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Experience as a Sous Chef within a busy kitchen Wagamama reserves the right to enhance the shortlisting criteria.
