About Our Client The client sits within the higher education space, with an office in the heart of London. Job Description Lead the financial management of the education department, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Implement strategic plans that align with the company's growth objectives. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Direct and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Work collaboratively with senior management to optimise financial performance. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department. Act as a key point of contact for internal and external financial queries. The Successful Applicant A successful Deputy Head of Finance should have: A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACA. Proven experience in a leadership role within the finance department of a recruitment consultancy or similar industry. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner. Experience in strategic planning and financial management.
